A few of you may remember a post about a month ago in which I announced my book title. You may have also noticed that that post disappeared a few hours later. The reason was that I sat with that title for a little while and I decided I hated it. Fortunately my editor had not yet assigned an ISBN to it, so we were able to reconsider it.
But this title is the official one, I promise.
Introverts in the Church: Finding our Place in an Extroverted Culture
By Adam S. McHugh
I'm hoping for a September release. Stay tuned!
Congrats on getting the title finalized! It's tough to summarize the message of a book into 11 words, but I think you nailed it.
ReplyDeleteI'm still liking "Introverted Church" better. That seems to highlight that we *are* the Church, the Body of Christ, whereas "Introverts in the Church" points us out as an isolated group rattling around like a stone in a can.
ReplyDeleteBut at the same time, just having any book on the subject is marvelous, so I'm not complaining.
