Huh

I ran into this odd and unexpected quote the other day while reading a book about contemplative prayer. The author used the term "introvert" out of nowhere, and didn't offer further exlanation.I can't decide whether I should try to make sense of it or just waive it off.

"The introvert, particularly if that person comes from an evangelical background, is good at confessing and notoriously bad at receiving forgiveness."

  1. I read that, think of myself and my introverted friends, and have to smile because it seems to ring true... but I really can't come up with much of a reason why it does. Could be that it's also just one of those things that everybody will believe is true of themselves, not just introverts, but I'm just kind of getting an odd resonance of "yeah, that's so true" about that statement. Something to mull over, maybe. Helpful, I know. *grins*
