Interview with Church Executive

Here's a short interview I did with Church Executive, about the experiences of introverts in megachurches. What size church do you prefer?

  1. I love this quote, mostly for its emphasis that introverts can and do enjoy people:
    "You have to remember that introversion is not shyness and that introverts can start with high energy, can be charismatic and dynamic speakers, and may really enjoy people; it’s just that after church we may need a long nap and time to ourselves."

  2. Thanks. An introverted preacher friend of mine has sometimes been called "bipolar" - energetic in the pulpit, wilting after the service.

  3. I always thought I'd really love to serve and worship and fellowship in a big church.

    Been there. Done that.

    We're at a house church now. And I've never been happier, more at peace, and loving the ministry God's called me to.
